About Playerstown

Playerstown was created in 1999 in Petersburg, Virginia, by Keith L. Granderson. It was started as a hobby to create designs for fun.   I just felt a need to create stuff.   I never intended to try to sell my designs.   I had no formal training in graphic designing, just a love for what I was doing.   To be able to turn a blank sheet of paper into something beautiful was the amazing part to me.   I would get off work at midnight and just play around on the computer till I realized the sun was coming up.   All the different designs I had created was in an old photo book with the sticky paper for keeping pictures in place.   I would leave this book on the coffee table, not for showing, but just to look through.   People started telling me how good my work was and said I should try to sell them.

The Business was formally named Playerstown Graphics and sportswear.   I started designing Business cards, flyers, menus and T shirts for the local businesses in Petersburg.   As my business started picking up, I begin doing calendars,  Logos and any other items the customers wanted.  After a re-launch in 2005 the business moved to Raleigh, NC and became Playerstown LLC.  Here at Playerstown we do all kinds of custom items and all pricing is custom.   In 2018, Playerstown started doing Bus trips to places like Atlantic city, New Jersey and Baltimore, Maryland to include the Inner Harbor and Live casino for overnight or weekend trips. 

Today we can handle branding of other business products, fundraiser’s or whatever your needs may be.

In the future, Playerstown plans to become a household word by adding other areas of entertainment and services,  all under the same brand name.
